Developing reliable, modular, testable programs and systems-based on object-oriented (OO) analysis and design has become the principal industry standard. It has been proven that the consistent use of OO techniques leads to shorter development life cycles, increased productivity and reduced system maintenance costs.

In this course students step through complex real-life case studies, learning when to develop and verify portions of the model against the business process. Particular emphasis is placed on how to incorporate the object model within use case analysis and documentation -- always with an eye towards the proper alignment of business goals and IT implementation.
